COOK / FOOD PREP ASSISTANT

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about fresh farm shop produce and would be inspired the create delicious food for customers to enjoy from our Takeaway at Little Budworth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good food safety and hygiene practices within the kitchen.
  • To prepare hot and cold food for The Hollies Takeaway service
  • To be responsible for stock control within the kitchen.
  • To order stock and accept & check deliveries
  • Organisation to ensure the kitchen is fully stocked and all preparations are done in advance.
  • Understand the importance of keeping up to date with the necessary administration and regulations to ensure the venue can obtain the highest possible ratings.
  • Understanding dietary requirements and allergies.
  • Working with our other departments to create and develop new products and menus
  • Bringing innovative ideas and excitement to our continually developing business.
  • Costing Menus.

Preferred experience:

  • Previous kitchen experience
  • Food hygiene certificate
  • Menu costing experience

Hours & Location

  • Full time to include weekends & weekdays
  • Mainly based at our Little Budworth site but may be required to work across our other sites within Cheshire

BARISTA / CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

We are looking for a smart, professional and outgoing person who is passionate about customer service with a friendly, positive, hardworking and adaptable approach to work.

The role and responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers and taking orders for food and drink
  • Preparing orders and processing payments
  • May be required to assist the kitchen with food preparation
  • Take responsibility for your place of work before, during and after shift by ensuring it is always clean, tidy, and presentable and adhere to COVID-19 cleaning measures
  • Maintaining stock levels and ordering stock
  • Following the operational guidelines
  • Keeping outside area clean and tidy

Preferred but not essential experience:

  • Previous Hospitality roles
  • Coffee training 

Hours & Location

  • Part time to include both weekend and weekday shifts.
  • Mainly based at our Little Budworth site but may be required to work across our other sites within Cheshire
