The Hollies Homemade Scones

Is there anything better than a homemade scone? We think not. Our Delicatessen team have been working on something extra tasty over the past few weeks, Hollies homemade scones! There are two flavours available, a traditional raisin scone and a cherry scone.

The British are known for their love of scones, the scone is a basic component of an Afternoon Tea and scones can be found in our coffee shops at The Hollies. The traditional way to eat a scone is to sandwich it with clotted cream and jam, however some like theirs with butter and jam.  One of our best sellers is the scone sensation which is a scone loaded with fresh berries and cream; yum!

However you decide to eat yours, make sure that you try our homemade scones. These are now made daily and are available at our Little Budworth Farm Shop and Coffee Shop. Don’t forget Jean’s homemade scones at Lower Stretton, she bakes lots of fabulous flavours throughout the week.

As it is National Cherry Day on the 16^th of July, why not try one of our homemade scones with a layer of Mrs Darlington’s Morello Cherry Jam and a big blob of Clotton Hall Dairy Clotted Cream?
