Hobsons Old Prickly Snuffly Hedge Grog
We have some new beers at our Lower Stretton and Little Budworth Farm Shops from Hobsons Brewery, just in time for Father’s Day! One of these include Hobsons Old Prickly – Snuffly Hedge Grog. This beer has been brewed since 2012, it is a pale ale bursting with flavour and is brewed with Columbus and Lubelski hops to give the beer a complex flavour of floral and citrus notes.
Hobsons Brewery donate £50 to the British Hedgehog Preservation Society for every brew they produce, since 2012 they have donated a brilliant £39,560.13!
Hedgehog numbers are in decline, with a third of urban and half of the rural populations disappearing since 2000. Hedgehog Awareness Week runs from the 5th of May until the 11th of May, this week is organised by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society. The main aim is to help this species and highlight the problems that these animals face.
The Hobsons Old Prickly – Snuffly Hedge Grog Gift Pack comes with a glass and also a pack of Spike’s Hedgehog food which can be used by yourselves to help encourage Hedgehogs into your own garden.
