Cambozola Grand Noir

The Hollies’ Cheese of the Month this August is Cambozola Grand Noir – a semi-soft blue veined cheese.

Cambozola Grand Noir is made from pasteurised regional cow’s milk in Allgáu, Germany. This amazingly creamy cheese is aged for a longer time at a low temperature in a waxy mantle similar to a wine in a cask.  The cheese is soft and creamy with a contrasting sharpness; which gives it a distinctive flavouring that simply melts in your mouth.

This cheese is ideal for fine dining, add it to a cheese board or accompany with salami or prosciutto along with a slice of pear.
