British Beef Week
British Beef Week starts on the 1st April until the 7th. This week is a celebration of the high-quality beef in Britain, promoting Red Tractor assured beef. British beef is known for its great quality and taste globally and is a part of a balanced diet for many. Our Butchery is proud to sell fully traceable beef sourced from Llanrwst through Conwy Valley Meats. Our Butchery counter has an extensive range of amazing Welsh Black Beef products available all year round, from different cuts of steak including sirloin, fillet, ribeye and tomahawk to amazing beef joints to roast. Our Butchery also hand make a wide range of award-winning beef burgers.
Our Butchery has a Dry Ager, where we dry age our beef for at least 28 days. The benefit of dry aging is to enhance concentration and saturation of the natural flavour, as well as the tenderisation of the meat texture.
All of the beef used in our Coffee Shops at Little Budworth and Lower Stretton and in our restaurants 59 at The Hollies and 32 by The Hollies, is the high-quality British beef from our Butchery counter.
Celebrate British Beef Week with us at The Hollies this April.
