Abbot’s Gold Cheddar
Introducing our Cheese of the Month; Abbot’s Gold Cheddar with caramelised onions. This rich cheddar is made up of onions that have been soaked in balsamic vinegar. The crunchiness of the onion complements the creaminess of the cheddar. This cheese is tangy but sweet at the same time, it is suitable for vegetarians and is made from pasteurised cow’s milk.
This cheddar is perfect to really spruce up your cheese board, try it with Peter’s Yard sourdough crisp breads.
Alternatively add Abbot’s Gold to a homemade quiche or pie for the ultimate treat.
Abbot’s Gold cheddar is available at both of our Farm Shops and our Delicatessen team at Little Budworth can cut this cheese to the perfect size for you.
