We were thrilled to recently receive a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2017 for both of our accommodation offerings, The Hollies Forest Lodges and our Highland Hotel, Muckrach Country House Hotel.  Founded in 2010, the Certificate of Excellence honours hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service. The designation is given to establishments that have consistently achieved great traveller reviews on Trip Advisor over the past year.

The Hollies Forest Lodges

The Hollies Forest Lodges at Little Budworth, are nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside in a pine forest setting. Oozing luxury and style, the 5 individually designed Forest Lodges offer comfort, privacy and the perfect space for either a break for two, or a gathering with your family or friends. The beds are sumptuous, the furnishings extravagant and the lighting opulent; creating an experience to remember.

Each Lodge has an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area, including a log burning stove and entertainment system. Outside on the spacious decking area, you will find a BBQ and a luxurious hot tub Jacuzzi spa; perfect to help you relax and unwind.

We now have three Lodges that sleep up to 6 guests (The Spruce, The Grand Fir and The Nordman) and two Lodges that sleep up to 4 guests (The Noble Fir and The Douglas Fir). We have limited availability for mid-week stays in all of our Forest Lodges throughout August; all our weekend dates have already sold out so make sure you book soon!

Muckrach Country House Hotel

The Hollies’ Highland Hotel, Muckrach Country House Hotel is a 4 star Victorian Shooting Lodge set in 10 acres in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Each of Muckrach’s 13 bedrooms have been individually designed and ooze luxury and style; fabric wallpaper, Hypnos beds, Wilton carpet, bespoke curtains and bed throws, ensuite bathrooms with rainfall showers, chandeliers and white fluffy towels. 2 of the bedrooms are dog friendly and situated in an adjacent building to the hotel.

Food is served all day with a menu lovingly created by the Chef combining the best of Scotland’s larder, seasonal produce and lots of creativity.

There are so many reasons to visit the Highlands of Scotland and specifically the Speyside valley and the Cairngorms National Park. If you require more than the breath-taking views, unique wildlife and the Highland air then there are many attractions and activities accessible within minutes of the hotel. The Victorian hotel sits just outside Dulnain Bridge, opposite the River Dulnain, with views of the Cairngorm mountains and the Spey Valley. The beautiful scenery may lure you to walk amongst the pine forests, along the rivers or the beaches and maybe even up in the mountains.
