Supplier of the Month

We have chosen a local supplier Alison Hill Heavenly Cakes and Desserts as our ‘Supplier of the Month’ this February. Alison is based in Cuddington, Cheshire.

Alison Hill makes scrumptious cakes and tray bakes, all her cakes are made using fresh eggs and traditional baking ingredients such as flour, butter, sugar and baking powder. Alison’s cakes are made with no artificial preservatives, colours, flavours or additives.

This year Alison Hill is celebrating her 10-year anniversary. Alison took her love of baking and developed it into a business venture. Alison is so passionate about what she does, quality, respect, ownership, integrity and efficiency are at the centre of everything she does.

It all began when Alison brought in samples to The Concept Café at The Hollies Farm shop, Lower Stretton and they were an instant hit with us all! So much so, that we asked Alison to supply cakes to our Farm Shops.

The cakes that we stock in our farm shops include chocolate, victoria sponge, coffee, lemon, orange & passionfruit. You can enjoy a slice of Alison’s delicious tray bakes in our Coffee Shop at Little Budworth, The Kitchen at Lower Stretton and on the Deli Bar, these include millionaire shortbread, chocolate brownie ( her best seller ), rocky road, Malteser tiffin and apple sponge. Alison also produces fabulous bakes in line with each season, such as her Christmas cake, simnel, parkin and buttery mince pies.

The next time that you visit The Hollies make sure that you try out one of Alison’s fabulous cakes, you definitely will not regret it!
