National Picnic Week

As the weather begins to warm, enjoy a picnic outdoors in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Although the concept of the picnic originated in France, the British have very much taken it to their hearts. National Picnic Week is from the 21^st of June until the 30^th June this year, so why not get involved?

Our Delicatessen is the perfect place to start, with a wide variety of delicious artisan food available. Whether you like pork pies, quiches and sausage rolls, freshly baked breads, wedges of cheese, fresh pasta salads, pâté or freshly cut meats, our Deli has everything that you need for the ultimate picnic, you can even pick up some freshly made sandwiches made on our Delicatessen daily to enjoy.

Pick up some salad leaves from our Farm Shop and market fresh fruit and vegetables to add into your picnic basket. Make sure you don’t forget a few treats, try a bag of the Tyrrell’s crisps which we have available in lots of different flavours. Or add one of our freshly baked cakes to make your picnic extra special.

 

There are lots of places in the local area to enjoy your picnic. Sit and relax in Delamere Forest which is just down the road from us. Or even Tatton Park in Knutsford for a scenic picnic spot in the countryside.
