Meet Ben, our Beer Enthusiast

Introducing Ben. Ben has been with us for just over 9 months now, he is our IT Manager at The Hollies. He is also a beer enthusiast, travelling all over Europe and America visiting different breweries and beer festivals.

His favourite beer festival was NOLA on tap in New Orleans, which was a combination of home brewers, small craft breweries like Cigar City from Florida and bigger more recognisable breweries like Goose Island.

At The Hollies we are looking to bring a selection of recognisable favourites, we have in stock some great seasonal beers from small breweries and local breweries such as Mobberley Brewhouse. We now have over 50 Craft Ales available in our Little Budworth Farm Shop. We hold a limited stock of each beer and the Ales are constantly changing. We also stock a limited variety of Craft Ales at our Lower Stretton Farm Shop.

Ben’s top picks for Spring are

• Trolltunga Gooseberry Sour IPA – From Buxton Brewery, described as citrus and fruity
• Imperial Café Racer – From FIERCE Beer, made from Kenyan espresso and Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar
• Spring IPA – Mobberley Brewhouse, made from Chinook & Amarillo hops
