Love Rosie Cakes
Meet Rosie who has been working at The Hollies Lower Stretton since 2011. Originally Rosie worked part time whilst studying education, psychology and counselling at Sheffield Hallam University, moving to full time after she graduated.
Rosie has always had a passion for baking and started bringing cakes or brownies in to work on a Saturday for her colleagues at Lower Stretton! It was when Debbie at Lower Stretton asked Rosie to make her 40th birthday cake that Rosie thought that there could be something more she could do. The rest, as they say, is history!
Rosie set up her business just over 2 years ago and now makes a variety of different traybakes for both The Hollies at Lower Stretton and Little Budworth – the most popular she says are the Kinder & Nutella Blondies! For those of you who don’t know what a blondie is, it is a white chocolate version of a brownie and they go down a treat heated up in the microwave with a bit of Cheshire Farm ice cream! Rosie also makes delicious cookie dough brownies, a salted caramel rocky road (pictured above) and a Biscoff rocky road.
Look out for Rosie sampling her delicious treats at Lower Stretton on Saturday 27th July 11am – 1pm!
