International Beer Day

Wednesday, July 17th, 2019

International Beer Day falls this year on Friday 2nd August and is a celebration of beer all over the world and the perfect excuse to get that Friday Feeling! It is a day for beer lovers everywhere to raise a toast to our fabulous brewers and bartenders.

We have over 50 craft ales available in our farm shop at Little Budworth and a selection of these are available at Lower Stretton too. We have some great seasonal beers, plus beers from local breweries such as Mobberley Beer, Weetwood Ales, Polly’s Brew Company, Chapter Brewing and Runaway Brewery. We hold a limited stock of each beer and they are constantly changing to bring you the best selection.

On all our bars you will find a selection of beer options, so there are plenty of places to celebrate. In our Little Budworth Coffee Shop and Restaurant 59 at The Hollies, we have Staropramen on tap plus bottles including The Mobberly Brewhouse Seasonal IPA and Weetwood Eastgate, both of which are brewed locally in Cheshire. At Lower Stretton sit back and relax with a chilled schooner of Birra Moretti or a refreshing bottle of Crystal lager brewed in Manchester. Our hotel, restaurant and bar 32 by The Hollies on Tarporley High Street serves Birra Moretti on tap, with bottled choices including Peroni Red and a selction of Weetwood Ales.

Please drink responsibly whilst you are enjoying International Beer Day. You’ll also find Erdinger Weisbrau on many of our menus – a low alcohol alternative.
