Gin of the Month

Wednesday, July 10th, 2019

We have another brand-new gin for our Gin of the Month this August. Warner’s (formally Warner Edwards) have released a truly tasty raspberry gin. Up to one third of their gin is made from hedgerow fruits; fresh blackberries, raspberries and elderflower, giving the gin a fruity, jammy and vibrant taste.

Blackberries and raspberries both grow in hedgerows, which provide a home for a lot of British wildlife. The number of hedgerows are in decline in the countryside so Warner’s intentions with their Raspberry gin is to help raise awareness and to protect the British countryside and the creatures living there. They have been working with the People’s Trust for Endangered Species to help to improve the local landscape through active conservation.

This gin is not like other Raspberry gins, it has a strong and vibrant raspberry flavour which covers the palate but with subtle hints of zest.

Warner’s recommend for the perfect serve.

  • A glug of Raspberry Gin
  • Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic water
  • Garnish with blackberries and a sprig of mint

Pop in to see us and give this truly yummy gin a try. We have Warners coming to visit both our Farm Shops during August to do tastings. On the 3rd August at Little Budworth and the 17th August at Stretton from 12-4pm.
