Ewan’s Business Plan
Ewan, aged 8 and 4th generation of The Hollies Farm Shop family, came up with an innovative business idea recently. Ewan thought we could ask our customers to help us to decide which new products we should sell in the farm shop by offering tastings and getting people to vote. Last week he met with our Farm Shop Manager, Chris to discuss his idea and make plans to put his suggestion into action. The proposal; if the product got 10 ticks we would then stock the product.
Last Sunday Ewan set himself up outside our Little Budworth farm shop with the help of Chris and Mum, Mindy. The products were from a company called A Little Bit Food; 2 dressings, a ketchup and a dip. Ewan encouraged our lovely customers to try the products and then if they thought we should stock them, they had to put a tick next to the product.
We are pleased to reveal that ALL 4 of the products Ewan sampled proved very popular (various customers even bought some to take home!) and will now be stocked in The Hollies Farm Shop at Little Budworth. Big thank you to Ewan for his great idea and to our customers who supported and took part!
