Award winners
The Hollies team of 48 were filled with anticipation and excitement as they donned their black ties and boarded the Routemaster red double-decker, on route to The Marketing Cheshire Annual Awards 2013 at Tatton Park last night. Nominated for 5 awards, there was possibly going to be glimpse of a trophy, but to come away with 3 was beyond our expectations.
Self Catering Accommodation Provider 2013 for The Hollies Forest Lodges was the first award of the night. Phil and Ed are thrilled that the Forest Lodges have achieved such an accolade within 2 years of the first Lodge being built. With 5 * ratings from Visit England already in place, we hope that we can now be successful representing Cheshire at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2014 and hopefully repeat the success Cheshire had in 2013.
Then Phil and Ed Cowap (3rd generation and Directors of The Hollies Farm Shop) were awarded Contribution to Cheshire 2013, a real accolade and achievement for 2 brothers who work tirelessly to strive to be the best and provide the best experience for customers and the team. Through their determination, The Hollies Farm Shop has become a destination for local, national and even international visitors to Cheshire. Their team are so proud of Phil and Ed, as they all stood shoulder appluading their achievements as the brothers went on stage last night.
4 generations of The Hollies – Phil and Ed are pictutred above with their father; Richard and Phil’s son Ewan at McGuigan Wines in the Hunter Valley, Australia. McGuigan Wines were the first wines that The Hollies Farm Shop, when they first began a wine department 15 years ago.
Last, but certainly not least, The Hollies team sccoped Team of the Year 2013. Phil and Ed are so proud of the team, Ed said ‘The Hollies would not be what it is, without the amazing team we have working with us, all 120 of them.” 48 of the team tried to squeeze on stage to collect the award! Everyone works with passion and enthusiasm and help make the customer’s experience better than the rest.
